Dark Choc & Salted Caramel Spooky Cookies

Halloween is just around the corner – if you are planning a Halloween get together, our spooky cookie recipe for Halloween is the perfect baking idea. Our Dark Choc & Salted Caramel Spooky Cookies are dangerously delicious.

Ingredients

1 scoop (30g) Smart Protein Salted Caramel

1 avocado

1 egg

1 tbsp vanilla extract

3 tbsp syrup of your choice (i.e. sweet freedom fruit syrup)

1/2 cup oats (blended to make oat flour)

1 tsp baking powder

2 handfuls dark choc chips

1/2 cup cacao or coco powder

edible candy eyeballs ( Sainsburys)

150ml soya milk ( any milk will do the trick!)

Servings

6-7 medium cookies

How To Make

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and line a tray with parchment paper.

2. In a blender mix the egg, avocado, vanilla extract and syrup.

3. Grab a bowl and add all dry ingredients then mix in the wet ingredients.

4. Add the dark choc chips, followed by the milk.

5. Mix all ingredients and begin to spoon into small cookie dough shapes on the parchment paper allowing space in between as cookies will expand, flatten a little!

6. Bake the cookies for approx. 6 mins – take the cookies out of the oven and add the candy eyeballs into your cookies then return to the oven for a further 6 mins. Total baking time should be around 12-15 mins (don’t worry if the eyeballs burn a little as they aren’t meant to be perfect – it’s Halloween!)

7. Enjoy the Dark Choc & Salted Caramel Spooky Cookies or pass them out during Trick & Treat!
