Mocha Caramel Slices

Ingredients 

Base: 

50g almond flour 

50g oat flour 

1 scoop Smart Protein Salted Caramel 

60g almond butter 

60ml maple syrup 

Caramel: 

100g almond butter 

60ml maple syrup 

Pinch of salt 

1.5 tbsp coconut oil, melted 

1 tsp coffee dissolved in 2 tsp boiling water 

1 Smart Bar, dark chocolate mocha 

Topping: 

60g dark chocolate 

1/2 tbsp coconut oil 

Method 

1. To a bowl add all the base ingredients and stir to combine. Use your hands to form a dough. 

2. Press the dough into a lined 1lb loaf tin (small) and place in the fridge. 

3. Meanwhile, add all the caramel ingredients to a bowl except the protein bar and stir until combined. Chop the protein bar into small pieces and stir through the caramel. 

4. Spoon the caramel over the dough base and set in the fridge for 4 hours. 

5. Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bowl then pour over the caramel layer and smooth out. 

6. Place in the fridge for 2 hours or until set.
