Speckled Egg PhD Protein Balls

Weekends are made for baking, and what better way to hit your protein goals than with a sweet treat?
Ideal for Easter Weekend, our simple and quick-to-make recipe produces 20 protein balls, using our popular PhD Vanilla Whey Protein. It’s perfect for a post-workout snack or simply to satisfy your sweet tooth!

Recipe

Creates 20 individual balls

Ingredients

3 cupsoats
2 scoops (33g per scoop) PhD Whey Protein Vanilla 500g PhD Whey Protein Vanilla 500g or Diet Whey Protein Powder - Vanilla Creme (1kg) Diet Whey Protein Powder - Vanilla Creme (1kg)
1 cuphoney
1 cuppeanut butter
1 cupcrushed speckled chocolate eggs
1 barmelted white chocolate

Method

Line a 30cm x 20cm baking tray with parchment.

In a mixing bowl, add the oats, honey, peanut butter, and protein and fold using a wooden spoon until combined. Then add 3/4 of the crushed speckled chocolate eggs and fold again.

Once mixed, take a small handful of the mixture, roll it into a ball in your palm and place it on the lined baking tray. Repeat this 20 times.

Carefully melt a white chocolate bar in a heatproof bowl over boiling water. Once melted, give it a good stir, drizzle it over the top of the rolled balls with a tablespoon, then sprinkle the remaining crushed speckled chocolate eggs.

No cooking, no mess, and ready to eat straight away!
