Vanilla Protein Waffles

You know a day that starts with vanilla protein waffles is going to be a good one! Especially when they are macro-friendly, easy to make, and taste incredible.

INGREDIENTS

50g Vanilla diet plant whey

30g plain flour

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

140ml unsweetened almond milk

Oil spray- For greasing the waffle maker

30g Smart Nut Butter White Chocolate Blondie

150g fresh fruit (strawberries and blueberries)

2 tbsp honey

METHOD

1. Whisk together the protein powder, flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add the vanilla extract, eggs and milk and whisk until thoroughly combined.

2. Heat the waffle maker onto high. Once hot, spray light with olive oil spray to grease.

3. Spoon half the mixture into the waffle mould and close the lid.

4. Cook for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Repeat for the second waffle.

5. Top your vanilla protein waffles with smart nut butter, fresh fruit and a drizzle of honey.

TIP If the smart nut butter is a little stiff, loosen with some boiling water until desired consistency is achieved.
