Especially one as fun and festive as our Ultimate Christmas Eve Workout – 12 days of Christmas edition. Get ready to push yourself, get sweaty and most of all have fun! We’ve pulled together this quick Ultimate Christmas Eve Workout is inspired by the Christmas Classic – The 12 days of Christmas, so give it a go get the heart rate up and enjoy a little bit of gym-based festive cheer! First things first… Find a speaker and set yourself up with the Christmas banger: The 12 days of Christmas Once you’ve got the song ready, complete each of the below exercises and their corresponding reps every time they sing that part of the song for example; A partridge in a pear tree = 1 chest to floor burpees. so every time this is repeated you need to perform a burpee, keep going for the entire song and see if you can keep up! The Workout A partridge in a pear tree = 1 chest to floor Burpee Two turtle doves = 2 Jump Squats Three French hens = 3 push-ups Four calling birds = 4 Lunge jumps Five gold rings = 5 Box jumps Six geese a-laying = 6 sit-ups Seven swans a-swimming = 7 mountain climbers Eight maids a-milking = 8 high knees Nine ladies dancing = 9 Narrow to sumo squat jumps Ten lords a-leaping = 10 Ice skaters Eleven Pipers piping = 11 Step-ups Twelve drummers drumming = 12 Star Jumps Let us know how you go on, or if you’ve got any more fun festive workouts for us to share.
