We’ve levelled them up with our Salted Caramel Doughnuts so you can enjoy them and hit your protein levels with a tasty snack to have at home, post-gym, or anywhere on the go. MACROS Serves 6 Ready in 40 minutes Kcal 216 Fat 9g Carbs 25g Protein 8g INGREDIENTS 90g plain flour 1 scoop Smart Plant, Salted Caramel flavour 1 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp baking soda 40g golden caster sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste 25g mashed banana 90ml unsweetened almond milk 30g vegan butter, melted Frosting 80g smooth peanut butter 40ml maple syrup Pinch of salt 1/4 tsp vanilla bean paste Cacao nibs, to decorate METHOD Preheat oven to 200°c/Fan 180°c. Spray a 6 hole, silicone doughnut pan with low calorie cooking spray. Add the flour, protein powder, baking powder and baking soda to a bowl and stir to combine. Add the sugar, vanilla paste, mashed banana, almond milk and melted butter to the bowl and stir until a thick batter forms. Spoon between the 6 doughnut holes. Bake for 18-20 minutes until a skewer comes out clean. Meanwhile, mix the peanut butter, maple syrup, vanilla paste and salt together in a bowl.
