Chocolate and Cherry oats

 

 

DARK CHOCOLATE & CHERRY BAKED OATS

It’s getting chilly out there which means the return of our trust oats. These tasty bowls are the best winter warmers that leave you feeling full and fuelled, plus the flavour choices are endless. We’ve whipped up a tasty dark chocolate and cherry treat that you have to try.

 

INGREDIENTS

50g rolled oats, blitzed into a flour

20g Diet Whey, Belgian Chocolate flavour

10g cocoa powder

1/2 tsp baking powder

160ml unsweetened almond milk

50g cherries, destined and halved

10g piece of dark chocolate

 

METHOD

 

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°c and lightly grease a small skillet pan or ramekin.
  2. To a bowl, add the oats, protein powder, cocoa powder and baking powder and stir to combine. Pour in the milk and mix again until a batter forms.
  3. Pour into prepared skillet/ramekin, top with the halved cherries and press the chocolate piece into the centre and cover the chocolate with a little batter.
  4. Bake for 15 minutes until set on top and around the edges but still gooey inside!
