Salted Caramel Flapjacks

These Salted Caramel Flapjacks are a real gamechanger, meeting macro requirements without compromising on taste for a truly delicious snack that’s both healthy and indulgent.

 

INGREDIENTS

250g oats

120g unsalted butter

80g maple syrup

2 small bananas

50g Salted Caramel Smart Protein

(Optional)- 20g white chocolate, to drizzle

METHOD

1. Preheat the oven to 160°c. Grease and line a small square tin with parchment.

2. Add the butter and golden syrup to a small saucepan and melt over a low heat.

3. Meanwhile, mash the bananas until smooth. Remove the butter and syrup from the heat, add the mashed banana and stir to combine.

4. Add the oats and Smart Protein powder and stir until all the oats are evenly coated.

5. Spoon into prepared tin and bake for 20 minutes until golden.

6. Allow to cool for a 5 minutes before removing from the tin to cool completely.

7. Once cool, melt the white chocolate if using and drizzle over the top of your Salted Caramel Flapjacks.
